I guess it must be a divide and conquer move, to eviscerate Trump. Then they can do the same to Desantis later.

That is exactly what is going on, split the republican party into servitude where Cocaine Bitch McConnell 'serves' as minority leader feeding his wife's CCP shipping business. He gains, we lose.

No one who I know has changed their position on President Trump. Still number One, with DeSanctimonious a distant second. However most of us have not yet seriously looked at a real viable and qualified Veep for Trump in 2024. I see Kari Lakes name mentioned frequently but IMHO she needs to first prove her mettle as AZ Gov. The anti-MAGA pukes are working overtime to illegitimately prevent her voters from putting her there.

I think it’s true that they are trying to split the Republican Party but I think it’s split already. There are still a lot of Trump haters out there.

The ideal ticket would be Trump/DeSantis 2024, DeSantis/? 2028 & DeSantis/? 2032. I’ve been told it isn’t smart to have the two from the same state.

Love Lake but she’s not going to get in. Wonder how many ballots were dropped in yesterday the last day for ballots? Just ridiculous!!

I’d prefer Josh Hawley.

Though he talks tough, unfortunately Sen. Hawley failed to object to McConnell's perpetual Senate session (2017-2020) that was done in order to prevent President Trump from making some high quality recess appointments. It would have required only one Senator to bust McConnell's stranglehold on Presidential appointments. Hawley is a more conservative member of the Establishment GOP (GOPe)but not MAGA so I'm not interested in promoting him to the White House. But if he wound up as the republican voters' chosen candidate in the general presidential election I of course would vote for him.

Fine, Matty Gaetz then!

Matt Gaetz would make an outstanding Speaker.

Thank you for telling the truth. Results hadn't even fully come in before the media started blaming Trump. No mention of McConnell and his RINO's pulling financial support from good candidates. These guys were chomping at the bit to knock Trump off the high horse his supporters put him on. They just needed a sliver of an opportunity.

“What is this? It’s a coordinated anti-Trump messaging campaign from both sides of the Swamp.”

How right you are.

I think President Trump, for all his ego flaws, is great and voted for him twice. But I know Governor DeSantis personally, and he is the real deal. And he is 40, not 80 (yes, approximating to make the point). He spent 10 years in the military. Sports standout as a child and in college. Has clearly demonstrated he can govern well and is not afraid to call a spade a spade. Refused to endorse a spikeshot for most people because the evidence is not there; Trump is still pushing it (this is important to some of us doctors).

At some point one has to look at broad electability, not fan clubbism. The question is, in this highly divided country, who is more electable? (Note DeSantis' performance in heavily Democrat districts yesterday.) The younger vote (outside of Florida where this did not hold) went almost entirely to Democrats. We will never win another election if this maintains.

I would be happy (for overlapping reasons) if either one won the Presidency in two years. The worst possible outcome is that NEITHER one is president. Thus I will put my time into the one most likely to win. President Trump has done enormous service to the country. And perhaps the best service he can do moving forward is to make sure that the generational transfer goes to someone capable of taking it forward in a way that would suit the readers of Emerald's Substack. (You would rather have Gavin Newsom be that next generation?) With President Trump's support, this could assuredly happen. At some point, the right thing needs to be done for the good of the country and the future of our children -- egos aside.

Time for deep, forward-looking thinking.

DeSantis has hitched his horse to the Globalist Multinational / GOP Establishment / RINO wagon. He has backstabbed the man whose strong endorsement put DeSantis into the governor seat. RD was silent on the corrupt FBI's illegal Mar-A-Lago raid, and has received a $200M war chest from globalist corporate billionaire donations. He has hitched onto the Globalists and is not going to support MAGA. https://www.politico.com/news/2022/11/06/gop-megadonor-desantis-24-ken-griffin-00065274

Dr. K - you hit the nail on the head. I too voted for Trump two times but it is time that he pass the baton to the next generation. He did great things for this country but he is WAY too devisive and his ego has gotten the best of him, not to mention he'll be almost 80 before entering office. That is not a winable combination, especially if the left continues to rig and steal elections.

Divide and conquer is basic. Think about what what connects us and go from there. Don’t let them divide us.

They will never let Trump win. The uniparty will cheat every election that a populist enters. They’ve figured out how to subvert the elections. Trump will never be president again. Even if he gets all the votes, they will find enough ballots to make him lose.

I think they are all in n this together. We are being played!! It’s time to take action. People who can afford it need to start buying out large plots of land. We have neighbors here t at ping this. Get the land ready. Wells. Sewer. Solar or some source of energy. Try to buy near a water source. Get rvs set up. Get growing systems in place. Weapons. Set up a plan with family and close friends. Everyone gets an rv in place on that land. Make new communities on lands out there. We are thinking of purchasing 160 acres. Work together. We have until 2030 or less. But we go have time. We all need to start planning now. Survival if the fittest. Let’s get a group chat going do we can all communicate and help each other through this. If we all help one another. We e we I’ll survive.

Is DeSantis that stupid to be played like this? I didn't think so, now not so sure. Trump is still the leader of the Republican Party. And EVERYBODY knows it. Especially the media.

This one post alone is worth the yearly subscription, I've been going out of my mind (quite possibly literally) with this new fake angle of attack on Trump, I was yelling like a mad man at my TV when Tiessen was spouting his inanities (and with such fucking conviction, his face mottled with such tiny man rage) with Brit Hume and half the Special Report crowd marching in lockstep on this shit. Now I feel better seeing Emerald's on the case.

Thanks again, Emerald, for your accurate assessment of the anti-Trump creatures at FOX and their disgusting babbling agenda that has made them unwatchable. It is most gratifying to have someone as smart as Emerald Robinson write the truth about these close-minded and dangerous RINOs who have done more to harm the Republican Party than the Marxist Democrats.

DeWine is a democrat. He went right along with the jab mandates (he started the vax-a-million nonsense), he was a huge masker, lock-down everything, was great at scare mongering...just the worst. The democrats in the state loved him for all this. He better not be our future.
