My family members in Ohio are the older cable news audience. They voted for Trump twice. Without Trumps endorsement of Vance he would of not gotten their vote. Thank God he did, because my attempts to continually educate them on trusted news sites has been futile...I will never give up educating them about trusted news sites and away from the communist MSM.
J.D. Vance is articulate. It is refreshing when a candidate is more concerned with our Southern Border than Ukraine. His stance on declaring the Mexican Drug Cartel an international terrorist group is spot on. It seems the citizens of Ohio have chosen wisely. Thanks once again for another compelling article, Emerald!
I read a few of Brit Hume's anti Vance tweets, and b/c Hume is generally sober I decided to look into Vance to see what might be bugging him more than just JD's Ukraine position, and quickly became a fan. I love that Vance seems to truly not care when the Left drags him, b/c he's giving up more than the average Republican re: pedigree and adulation by the Times crowd, many of whom love well written "excoriations" of white trash deplorable types, of which I am one (from Pennsylvania)
Ryan, while you do bring up some interesting items about Vance, some of us are "Never Vancer's", the fact that he claimed he held his nose and voted for Hillary was enough for me to not only never vote for him, but I intend to hold my nose and vote for the only Democratic senator from Ohio. Good luck but I wish Trump listened to the party here and had not endorsed him. Trump may forgive but many of us only see another RINO like Mitt Romney, thanks but no thanks
I agree with everything you said in your comment (It's even hard for me to get over Ben Shapiro and Glenn Beck's 2016 votes, and Mitt makes my stomach turn), but this midterm feels truly do or die for America. However I definitely respect your stand should you stick with it, I'd almost take a squad member over Liz at this point.
I can't argue with your logic, but Vance had a duty to look at the differences between the candidates in 2016. I do hope we have a Republican senate, but I just can't pull the trigger on voting for Vance. Thanks for the comment

Love JD. Loved his book. He is the real deal!! He might even be “ultra” MAGA!!😎
