Sometime after Michael Shellenberger ran as a long-shot candidate for California governor (as a Democrat) in 2018 but before he suddenly became a famous journalist and expert on government censorship in 2022-3, there was a brief period in 2020 when he was an advocate for draconian COVID lockdowns in America.
This period of the talented Mr. Shellenberger’s life is harder to review because he has locked down the tweets on his old Twitter/X account. That particular account goes under the handle “ShellenbergerMD.”
Was Michael Shellenberger pretending to be a doctor during those years?
It’s hard to say — but he was certainly posting pictures of himself wearing a face-diaper (ah yes, follow the science!) and he was certainly posting messages that called for even harsher COVID lockdowns in America than anyone could possibly imagine in a free society.
Shellenberger seemed to be calling for the complete shutdown of America and a comprehensive tyranny initiated by Congress in March 2020.
That’s interesting because such an insane and un-American “response” to COVID was exactly what America’s national security state and America’s pharmaceutical industry wanted in 2020.
Shellenberger even managed to get this madness published in The Federalist — a supposedly conservative magazine. And he infected the liberal outlet Quillette too.
No wonder the “ShellenbergerMD” account has been locked from viewing.
According to Mark Groubert, a reporter for LA Weekly, Shellenberger’s father was actually a CIA agent. Why did Shellenberger appear on Groubert’s radar? Groubert had noticed that Michael Shellenberger seemed “to drop out of the sky right into cable news” and “now he’s an expert and he’s on all the time as an expert.”

He’s even managed to wrangle Matt Taibbi and Russell Brand into this group effort. According to C.J. Hopkins — who is a first-hand witness to this new movement — Shellenberger has placed himself at the top of “a secret cabal of international journalists, editors, organizers, political satirists, academics, and other Very Serious People….” At these meetings, Shellenberger spends his time “strategizing about how to defeat (or marginally disrupt) the network of governments, Intelligence agencies, global corporations, NGOs, and so-called disinformation experts known as the Censorship Industrial Complex.”
This global movement includes “delegates from the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, and other nominally sovereign countries.”
Can you imagine a better place for a CIA asset to spend his days?

"Corruption Chronicles--Soros-Tied Facebook Censorship Board Considers Suppressing Anti-Immigration Speech". Soros has several people that sit as "judges" on the Facebook Meta Censorship Board. Almost everyone sitting on Facebook's censorship board is NOT AN AMERICAN!!!!! One is the former principal at Oxford University & British newspaper editor. One is a human rights attorney & program manager at Soros' Open Society Initiative for West Africa. Another is Julie Owono, executive director of a Paris-based nonprofit that advocates for "privacy and freedom of expression" (Yeah, right!). Another is Nighat Dad (or as I call him, Nightmare Batshit), a Pakistani attorney, founder of Digital Rights Foundation. Another is Tawakkol Karman--not American--who sits on the advisory board of "Transparency International". Another is Helle Thorning-Schmidt, Denmark's former prime minister & currently on the board of the European Council on Foreign Relations (remember the CFR???) and trustee at the International Crisis Group. Catalina Botero-Marino is the dean of a Colombian law school (not Columbia Law School in NYC) called Universidad de Los Andes, which received over $1.3 Million from Soros' funded Open Society Foundation (OSF). Kenji Yoshima, a Japanese law professor at NYU law school, who serves on the BOD of the Brennan Center for Justice (leftist law group). Suzanne Nossel, an Obama Administration official, is on the advisory board of the left-wing think tank "Foreign Policy for America". And, an Egyptian academic named Khaled Mansour, director of the nonprofit Crisis Action, that has received over $2.5 MILLION from OSF since 2017. All of these NGOs have received Millions of Dollars from Soros' Open Society Foundation in order to undermine the United States from within and without with their censorship and disinformation programs run and aided by the CIA and ex-Nazi George Soros.
