Great article Emerald. Glad to see your long form come back. It’s all been one big BS lie. All of it! Think how many lost their lives so these psychopaths could play god.

I love America but the American government must fall. People must be put in jail and it should not be Trump.

Thirty-one months later, and the Afghanistan debacle has been completely memory-holed. The tens of thousands of refugees are vastly outnumbered by the multinational hordes effortlessly crossing the US southern border. And yet more darkness awaits us in 2024, this fateful year. The days when we can pretend everything is normal are numbered.

02/21/24: Sharp! Well worth reading again and again. International three-card monte card collapses again. But not before everyone got their cut. How many Americans profited from the entire jerry-rigged apparatus that was designed to fail? How do the Marines who fought there feel today? F'ING VIETNAM ALL OVER AGAIN.

Afghanistan was a US intel grifting operation that served the Elites only. The captured Global Media said and omitted what they were told to - distract, deny, then go into Matt's office and take your pants off when you hear the remote lock click. At one time the appearance of impropriety could get someone fired. Now, failing to have the appearance of propriety will do it.

Obama's pre-planned Afghanistan "debacle" is just a symptom of The Problem. The Problem is that our citizens (whatever that means now in a "country" with no borders) have been neutered, outraged into numbness, and drugged. Cheap hallucinogens can be had in any town - small or large, while clueless "parents" (whatever that means...) panic because the destructive Adderall or Ritalin they addicted their kid to is, oddly, now hard to get.

The end began on 6/25/1962 when the Supine Court ruled that our prayers were offensive.

On 11/7/2012 we started prepping to survive an unavoidable collapse, realizing that NO civilization with a majority of people this stupid could continue.

The beat goes on, Emerald. Thank you for this analysis.

I remember seeing the CENTCOM CO , a Marine careerist, testify before Congress. Bad day for the USMC. Blathering buffoon.

And the Marine sniper who had the outside the gate bomber in his sights but could not get permission to shoot. The Marine sniper was a truth teller. Not so with the CENTCOM embarrassment.

Semper Fi, Marines.

One was. The other not.

All I see when I look toward Afghanistan is that this was one place that served no military purpose to the US. Well, maybe I was wrong; it DID serve a purpose for the US government war machine. But it also showed that the machine was now broken.

Then I read about the idea of "moderate" Muslims fighting (against the radical ones?) that might fight against other Muslims before they would fight against the invaders? Tell me: Between Sunni and Shia, which are the moderates? And how does one tell them to fight for us? That was the biggest crock of 0bama I've ever seen! Or maybe it's a crick of Brennan. Either way, it's like stink on shit.

Then there's the idea that if we fight them over there, we won't be fighting them over here. Okay, then; why are we bringing "them" over here while we abandon the "we" over there? Do you really think that act of generosity is going to change their loyalty?

At this point, I can only hope some of those imbeciles that have hung around the military long enough to become generals are given their well-earned dishonorable discharges.

And I hope there's enough rope.

It all started with George W Bush. The entire Middle East fake wars that killed thousands of our men and women in uniform were designed to feed the military industrial complex trillions of dollars. Trump was the only president that didn’t start any new wars since GHW Bush the ultimate RHINO.

"the myth of Joe Biden's competence"...

The actions and results of the actions by the obamma, err, Atlantic Council/Aspen Institute, err, biden administration clearly does not support a myth competence in supporting the interests of the people of the US, but it absolutely does not contradict their competence.

Great article, I am amazed at how little of this information is being talked about. America described in this article is not the America I believe in. When will We the People take back our government? Would the COS be a start?

I remember when I was “with the terrorists” for opposing this wicked unconstitutional war back in Oct. of ‘01 when this whole debacle started. It was always going to end this way just like in Veitnam in all the other foreign policy fiascos that we’ve had since the war of northern aggression. Let’s get back to being a republic instead of the empire we are.

Abandoning vast amounts of military stuff is a regular thing with the US military...The US also abandoned enormous amounts of equipment at the end of WW2, mostly in the far east...Ho Chi Min fought the French with American weapons left behind...

Afghanistan never had a civil govt. Afghanistan is not a country the way we think of a country. It is a collection of tribes. And the only thing we have to show for 20 years is a pile of dead bodies and an even bigger pile of wounded ones. We had no business there. We were never going to drag 7th century barbarians into the 21st.

It was a jobs program.....just ask Senator McConnell. His MIC buddies at Northrup, et al. needed the work.

What the DC-Euro cabal mourned with the end of US troops in Afghanistan was the loss of a gov't program that enabled endless graft from all the US-EU aid sent there. Thankfully, inept Biden was rewarded with WEF-Graft 2.0 with Ukraine. The same messaging, just as expensive, never-ending.

Emerald, Afghanistan was a $4 trillion boondoggle...We knew that Osama was already in Pakistan, but everybody important got rich, and the CIA got a lot of profitable drugs from this war...And no, we didn't conquer the place....we controlled Kabul and the low areas, while the Pashtun controlled the mountains and the Taliban...
