I do not believe CNN is in a death spin. I believe this is just Operation Mockingbird in full effect. They are just retooling to better disseminate their propaganda. The amount of money CNN got from the government during Covid, in my estimate, is a massive windfall. My guess is in 2 years, right before the 2024 elections, CNN will be garnering more and more of the independents and RINO class. CIA propaganda 101.
