This would have shocked me 10 years ago and bothered me 7 years ago. Today I would have been surprised to learn that MSM corporations were doing anything that approached objective journalism. I adopted a rule for evaluating information at the beginning of 2021: If I read it or hear it, it's not true. It has served me surprisingly well since then.
I assume they are being paid to push us into a war with Russia or at least promote sympathy toward Ukraine so we will pump billions into their war efforts. Funny (not funny, but you know what I mean) you should write this. I was having this conversation with my wife yesterday discussing the various entities on social media allegedly raising money for said "aid". Apparently the poor Ukrainian refugees arriving in Germany in their Mercedes and other luxury vehicles have been using the money to hire prostitutes. I'm sure those are just 'anecdotal' stories, but one needs to wonder how any of the entities raising funds plan to find the refugees to dole out said funds. The whole thing stinks to high heaven. I want to be sympathetic, but geez...
Somewhat off topic: my wife emigrated from Russia and has a very interesting perspective on Ukraine and (generally) it's population. Not flattering, and brings to mind a different version of the Iran-Iraq war.

Heartbreaking but predictable when one considers the Lord’s own warning regarding these times (Matthew 24). I urge everyone to draw close to Him with prayer and meditate on the Scriptures.

After losing my job due to my company's corporate only, no doughnut shop vaccine mandate (Krispy Kreme) I had to stop yours and a lot of subscriptions. 2 months later and with a new company not pushing vaccines, today I came back. Really big, big money is having a very pernicious affect on the foundations of a society that prides itself on being a free people. Science coupled with capitalism and the freedom to practice capitalism has generated unprecedentedly wealthy new fangled tyrants who use the greed of the less fortunate leadership class to destroy virtually all the guiding principles of Western civilization. Nascent strong opposition to the new tyrants are turned with offers of millions unavailable to them any other way. They take the money and either pretend to be opposition or just fade into the woodwork. Wealth is more immense and concentrated than ever before. Greed is as it has ever been. Years of upheaval awaits.
I don’t believe we’ve had capitalism, real capitalism, in my lifetime. (Certainly not in the past 30 years). The merger of government with “private” industry would be, I believe, the phenomenon future historians would be writing about, along with its destructive effects on societies. This prophecy requires the destruction to be halted at some point though. I don’t know if it will be halted in time for future historians. My cynical mind says this is the value of extreme “climate change”. When the dominant species are no longer sustainable, nature has her own “Great Reset”. Or like a seminal figure of my generation said, “ Beam me up, Scotty.”
