If we don’t get rid of the electronic voting machines and go to analog paper ballots, both sides will continue to select who gets to hold office rather then the voters electing them. Until that happens, we’ll continue to have selections not elections
Paper ballots don't ensure fairness. They can be faked, counted multiple times, or trashed before counting. Even if they're all genuine, as soon as they're read into a computer, anything can be done to the tallies.

They have one leader, one party, who has control over everything. President Trump wanted to be that guy in the US, like Putin. In his second term, President Trump had plans to overhaul the entire constitution by re-writing the entire thing himself, getting rid of the three branches and replacing it with one branch, the executive branch that oversees everything (including the states), and President Trump would have the final word on everything. He could fire anybody anytime, overrule any decisions he does not like, and instantly convict people of crimes without having long-drawn-out trials that are unnecessary. The supreme court would report directly to him and consult with him on all rulings to make sure he agrees.
