If you are on your way out you should not be able to vote on such a massive issue. Maybe if you are retiring or lost your election you should not be able to vote at all on your way out. Your motivation is very suspect & if you lost your election you lost because you don’t represent your constituents anymore. So no vote. Maybe Senators & Representatives should poll their constituents before they vote, they certainly don’t seem to have been representing the will of the people. McConnell thinks that funding Ukraine is the most important issue for republicans? What is he smoking? Or a better question is how much is he in on the take?

If his true colors are narcissistic drive to win, be first, and even to be seen as the president who saved the world from a pseudo killer virus, based on the fraudulent information he used, not exactly at any cost, but information affecting his decisions effectively driving his responses, then yes, his true colors. But truly, he was never going to win that battle. I donated money, walked hours and knocked on doors for the Florida Republican party candidates-no regrets. I am done with the national GOP. And it cost millions and millions (probably billions in today's dollars), months and months, lots of opposition and aggravation. And there's not enough time before 2024.
