There seems to be some "slack" in what is noted. [a] The FBI declined to allow Mike Lindell to call his lawyer.... but he did talk to his lawyer [b] The FBI would also not allow Mike Lindell to leave the fast food restaurant parking lot... but he did eventually leave the property.
The "left" will attempt to throw as much out as they can.... the Gov't (seems to) procedurally shoot for the moon, and settle for something less. I'm not a lawyer, but I am not sure if a plaintiff trying similar tactics is a great idea (although lawsuits have to deal with a certain amount of uncertainty).
Why not go for a kill shot and leverage those claims that are most correlated to that which is most "clearly" illegal (Lord knows 4 standard deviations would level Washington)?
Somehow I pray Mike Lindell prevails, and the DOJ pays (a better use of taxpayer dollars than almost anything that comes out of DC these days).
