War with Venezuela? I think Emerald should start an over/under pool on how long that would last.

I'll take the over. Past history does not accurately predict the future....but I'd bet on it.

To completely milk the American public and line the grifters pockets properly...it will take at least 20 years.

Nah. You are overlooking the fact that there's a new sheriff in town; one that gets things done. Venezuela pokes that bear? FAFO. Trump gives Pete the go-ahead and it says here to take the under...as in 7 days.

What has Trump gotten done? So far very little beyond braggadacio. He's not a doer, he's a pretender and a showman meanwhile he is continuing to fund Ukraine and Israel's war on humanity while getting his ass kicked by Russia and China.

Normally I'd just ignore you, but on this thread I feel that it's important to note: what a stupid comment. The end.

Yes, you have identified a stupid comment..............yours. Simple question you cannot answer and an observation you simply avoided addressing with a cogent counter argument. Definitely outs you as the dope here.

10/23/25: Why not an instant freeze on the paychecks for all Venezuelans who play professional sports in the U.S.? (Regardless of whether they already live here with green cards.) Watch the fur fly! Fly in ointment: Some might have already been paid in full for 2025. Seize / freeze previously collected funds that are in a suspended future payment status scheduled for 2026?

Let's start with you, how long would a guerilla war with Venezuela last? Perhaps you might want to look toward Viet Nam for a clue. What's in it for the people of the USoA.

This one I'll respond to: it's not going to be a guerilla war. Any military installations will get wiped out immediately. The CIA's already there and will take out the leadership just as quickly. The population of Venezuela isn't going to support Maduro; they know that he's got to go. Wham-bam; thank you, ma'am.

Setting aside your infantile rah-rah go USA, kill`em all mindset, let's deal in reality. There are five reasons this could evolve into a Viet Nam quagmire:

1. The terrain is a nightmare for modern warfare

2. Venezuela’s forces are built for guerrilla war, not conventional defense

3. Logistics would be slow, vulnerable, and expensive

4. The oil fields are a battlefield, not a prize

5. Occupation would lead to chaos, not stability

Bottom Line

An invasion of Venezuela would be quick to start but impossible to finish. The terrain, the logistics, and the complexity of the country’s politics make it a trap for any foreign army. And far from securing oil or influence, it would likely unleash environmental and humanitarian chaos that no one could control. Venezuela is a fragile state sitting on a volatile resource, not a battlefield the U.S. could ever truly win. The ROW would likely not sit idle. CIA in theater simply means regime change, not invasion, and a puppet government. Democracy installed around the world with CIA terrorism has given us Papa Doc, Marcos, Mobutu, etc who defined kleptocracy and Pinochet, Branco and Videla who gave us Los Desaparecidos to name just a handful-

Now dummy, who would benefit?

I'm impressed with your sense of self-importance; do you rehearse in front of a mirror? I've expressed my opinion and you've expressed yours. Kudos. Now: kindly pound sand.
