Is amazing how quickly he capitulated. That points to one thing ...he is compromised. If it was a slow process one can say that the machine is grinding him down and he had to give it up here and there but this quickly? He is an intel captive. Alex Jones said many years ago that a person can't get a senior position in DC if the Deep State do NOT have something on them. Blackmail is how the skids are greased in DC.

AIPAC gave Mike Johnson $95000.00 so I think hes working for them too. The guy is a traitor to his own party.

I get it. So who can we get as the speaker who will advocate for an America and its Citizens First agenda?

Judging people is wrong, but watching a professing Christian do the things he is doing is a head scratcher. MTG thinks he might be blackmailed. Are they threatening to kill his family if he doesn’t cooperate?

The Uniparty strikes again! Against the people again!

What we are dealing with is a two-winged bird of prey that will, like a vulture, kill almost anything that interferes with its goals, which include the complete subjugation of the people.

"He’s either compromised by the national security state or he’s compromised by the corporate interests which control the GOP establishment."

Those entities doing the compromising control a whole lot more than the GOP establishment; they control everything and nearly every person in government, at all levels, not just DC. The only reason "they" need the illusion of a Congress is, exactly as you say, "more money" for everyone but us. Since only the House can appropriate these insane sums, and since "they" need the House to do that to siphon our wealth for their oligarch friends, "they" continue to pretend we have a choice. We don't. And, FWIW, changing speakers will not change anything meaningfully; the next speaker will also be compromised immediately and will do the bidding of the owning cabal, just like this one did.

Let's not forget Johnson's inability to convince apostate RINOs not to resign before the fall and going along with kicking George Santos out before any legal action against him warranted his eviction (losing another reliable conservative vote). At best Johnson's inept; at worst he's playing ball with the Uniparty's scheme to regain control of the House prior to the '24 election.

My own opinion is that Johnson is faced with the resignations of 2 or more Republicans that woould put the Crime Family in control of the House. You have commented on this before and that may be the best explanation. On control they will use the control to stop Trump.

Let's say that he's compromised. The thing I'm thinking about is - what would I do if I learned that he took a bribe, that he cheated on his wife, that he's really gay, that his brother is being considered for prosecution (my ability to imagine what 'compromised' means is limited). I'm in CO-3 and Lauren Boebert (while she represents CO-3) has issues, but I know that she's a human and don't expect her to be perfect. What do they have on him that he would betray and lie to the American people.

Looking at Johnson's face, if you put Liz Cheney's hair on him, they would be hard to tell apart!

I contributed to you, Emerald, and I regret it. You don't post often enough and it's never anything but warmed over news.

There was a reason they voted down Jim Jordan as Speaker before they chose Johnson. Now we are seeing why. Jordan has a backbone. Johnson has the spine of a jellyfish.

This Robinson comment section is re-arranging my brain’s “constitution/bill of rights” understanding; we the people will be served last, after the uniparty end game!

Rand Paul is also fed up with Johnson. Will this be the shortest lived speakership ever? I'm sure McCarthy is praying for it.
