Not even Brian Stelter (who, by the way, can expect a pink slip any day now. Not to worry, Mr. B.: A million pool tables are on the lookout for soon-to-be unemployed cue balls).
Wouldn't it be nice if Philip Bumptious could write in English?
According To Bump: "Philip Bump is a correspondent for the Washington Post based in New York."
WaPo is not based in New York.
In English (Approved by Rand-McNally Maps): "Philip Bump is a Washington Post correspondent based in New York."
He is now in his late 40's. Most writers at this age have made steadier progress in this respect than Philip.
However, we're certain that he has mastered (if he knows what's good for him) the spelling of his wife's name: "China Kaweah Ziegenbein."
Or so the story goes. Silently, we suspect that when he's stuck somewhere in the middle, she gives him a little push: "Never mind, Philip. Move up to the Big 'Z,' Little 'i.' "
"Most onlookers consider [WBD's] shutting down CNN+ ... a disaster, but CNN’s ... Brian Stelter says, 'It’s too early to know if this product, if this service, was a success or a failure' ..."
Not all excellent lawyers are expensive- but a herd of them are not cheap! It's great that you have access to that kind of legal protection. A good lawyer can be worth their weight in gold.
So, when I make a 'donation' to you through a subscription or otherwise, could you tell me what approximate percentage ends-up in the pockets of lawyers? This is critical information to me "going forward"...
It's enough to make me want to increase my support. Legal battles are how we win in civil society. If that fails, we'll need to become un-civil. No sane person wants that.
Sadly, you are correct! In Arkansas I can’t even find one lawyer to uphold my legal rights. Not one agency, commissioner, three/four letter groups, or, the Attorney General’s office help we the people. The last attorney I spoke with stated, “don’t you realize everyone is in everybody’s pockets?” Obviously, yes!
There aren't enough honest lawyers to go around, but there enough to make a difference. Aflegal.org is working aggressively on many fronts. My personal fave is crpa.org. Courtroom battles are frustratingly slow, which is probably beneficial in preventing spontaneous tyranny, and they hinge on amazingly nuanced arguments, requiring great skill, which is why those battles are always frightened expensive. Donating to foundations on the front lines leverages individual actions with crowd funding. Exceedingly difficult to beat them on our own, but together we can win.
Two things. One: Your question borders on being gauche. Please contribute what you can and trust the people to whom you have donated money (otherwise, keep your money). Two: What these lawyers will cost is unpredictable. It all depends on how many Philip Bumfucks are out there, doesn't it?
In the Netherlands, they were interested in where Zelensky's multimillion-dollar fortune came from.
"Inconvenient" questions are asked by the local Forum for Democracy party.
The state of the President of Ukraine is estimated at $850 million. At the same time, his official salary in 2021 was $ 12 thousand.
How did Zelensky manage to get most of his fortune while serving as head of state, and where does he spend such money? The party asks on its official Twitter account.
At the end of March, the participants of the Forum for Democracy party refused to listen to the speech of the President of Ukraine in the Dutch Parliament.
They considered it inappropriate to make Zelensky "half-holy", given his involvement in "dubious financial affairs", including the "Panama Dossier".
Also why is President Trump claiming Putin is committing genocide in Ukraine? Does he even know what is going on over there? The fighting is 99% in the East which is pro Russia. This is Xiden level BS by President Trump! Maybe he should get on Telegram and find out what is really going on rather than listening to low IQ RINO NeoCon Hannity. Honestly both so called Ukraine and Russia are garbage but if I had to pick one (in this case) it's Russia.
I am not sure about that. I couldn't believe what I was hearing from President Trump. There is no genocide taking place. As I mentioned the East of Ukraine is taking 99% of the fighting / damage and that part is very pro Russia. If there weren't imbedded nationalist Ukraine military the people wouldn't have put up any resistance. What is amazing is the people that have been hit the hardest (the pro Russia areas of the East) seem to be ok with the destruction because they have lived under war for the last 8 years and don't want to be under Ukraine. This has been suppressed by Western MSM for 8 years.
What is wrong with Telegram? It has the best Ukraine coverage assuming you don't buy MSM bias that has made Zelensky a saint and Ukraine the most pious (so called) country of earth. I have a feeling Truth Social is not free speech either.
If you want see the other side watch Intel Slava Z on Telegram. Again I don't like so called Ukraine or Russia but it's plan as day Russia is winning. Also no genocide by Russia.
From what I have read about Truth Social (currently no Web or Android support) I am not interested. I would rather use something like Telegram which also might prove to be problematic.
"After all, nobody else wants to pretend to be Philip Bump."
😹😹😹 Emerald, you are priceless!
It's called: dropping the hammer.
Not even Brian Stelter (who, by the way, can expect a pink slip any day now. Not to worry, Mr. B.: A million pool tables are on the lookout for soon-to-be unemployed cue balls).

China: "And another thing. We're hyphenating our name: 'Ziegenbein-Bump.' "
Bump: "Yes, dear."

You really shouldn't have done that ~ 🙈
All she did was the same as Libs of Tic Toc --- retweeting their own stuff! A marvelous Clark Kent impersonation, by the way.

Fearless woman! Respect!

One stone at a time, Emerald; until the edifice can no longer support its own weight.
Man O' Day,Emerald, you don't mess around,do ya?! You inspire me!
Love your spoof "The Potomac Pravda!" Didn't realize the "Compost" had PB! What a name! You have a great sense of humor, Emerald!
And the best description of you that Philip can offer is "former Newsmax employee"?
All the other words fell out of his quiver.
Sobering.
“Hun army of lawyers”. Very nice!! Sick ‘em Emerald!!

But that's where we are headed....
Maybe. Still time to salvage it. Knowing it's coming is the first step. November should clarify our outlook.

Zero. Nada. Nothing.
Thank you for the clarification. I'm sure you understand a supporter's concern when they read "...my army of attorneys..." as to funding priorities.
Several good legal foundations support freedom causes, making good progress. Always slower than we like. Worthy of donations.
Not where I live!

It's expensive being "the tip of the spear" of course.

He knows . . . and things aren’t as they appear. Child rescue situation. The information is out there, they are keeping it quiet for the time being.

“ After all, nobody else wants to pretend to be Philip Bump.”. Outstanding!
Looks like Mike gave Bump a bump on the head. You got off lucky Phil, at least he didn't bite your ear off.
