I wonder if the campaign now is to dissuade Elon from buying Twitter. What's worse, paying a SEC fine or allowing Elon to buy it? What's the likelihood of someone enforcing any kind of jail sentence?
What I find interesting is the sheer lack of substantial stock owned amongst the board, suggesting that they only own shares to legally serve on the board, and nothing more. Why? Is their stock truly worthless? Is it a shell corporation operating at the behest of the CIA?

Note that not all employees are "tweeps" but many are normal people as disgusted with their employer as everyone else is. The security bulletin warning tweeps not to disclose info was immediately disclosed by one of the tweeps. That's a good sign. Whistleblowers will emerge with evidence of the SEC reporting fraud. The question is whether SEC or anybody else in this corrupt government will do anything about it. Elon doesn't care. As more disclosures emerge, users will fly away to tweet somewhere else. Crushing Twitter is an equally satisfactory outcome.
