As usual, Emerald hits them right between the eyes. The only quarrel I have is with the word "emasculation", which implies that there was something there to emasculate in the first place.

Watching this kabuki theatre for years has essentially revealed that we're dealing with Washington's version of the Harlem Globetrotters vs. the Washington Generals, with the Generals being happy to be on the same court. Shameful.

The Uniparty plays well together. McTurtle is happy to be the minority as long as he controls the party and his grift. Hence, his big spend against the MAGA candidates in the mid-terms.

Damn you and your perfect articulation once again! I long for the days when I just didn't care about politics. I was, indeed, much happier and my blood pressure was not on the brink of ending me! In my small circle the trend seems to be, we are trying to distance ourselves from not only from the Republican party but politics in general. Both parties are horrible and don't represent the will of the people that sent them to be their representatives. With an activist press, this has zero chance of changing in our lifetime.

“I long for the days when I just didn't care about politics. I was, indeed, much happier.” This, was when you was much younger. In your 20s. I will never forget the day that has come back to haunt me in my memory over and over and over. And when I say haunt me, I don’t mean that in a bad way, like in a scary way. I mean in a way that I remember it and I could never forget it and it keeps popping up in my memory like a piece of toast.

It was the day that my uncle Donald told me these words. “Right now you don’t care because you’re too young to care. Hang onto that as long as you can. Because the day will come when you will care and you won’t be able to stop until you get to a certain age when you know, you won’t live much longer and you wish to be happy and you will forget about politics and give up on it.” . He was so right. Like you I care and In all likelihood, I care way too much. I think right now what is pissing me off more than anything is how many people are coming across the border every day and not a damn thing is being done about it.

We conservatives don’t do anything like hold marches.. When’s the last time any conservative turned on Fox News or watched any outlet like this one or any other outlet on YouTube like Dan Bongino / Ben Shapiro, etc etc. and I’m sure you know there are plenty of alternative news that we can watch on YouTube out of well-known men and women. But I digressed. When is the last time any of us saw a march on any school or college that we always complain about and rightfully so.

About what they have been doing to America’s youth for over 30 to 40 years. When is the last time We conservatives got off our asses in March or anything that we say we really care about? And yeah, we always see the far left marching in pushing for things that they say they believe in. You gotta hand it to them they actually didn’t put shoe leather to pavement.

And all we do is stay hid in our houses & our churches. And bitch about stuff online. We are A group of people that are neutered, because were too damn scared of the far left. Don’t hand me any excuses like, “We got jobs you know.”

I would submit to you that the last time we Conservatives marched against the Swamp was January 6 of 2021...and you see how that worked out.

GarlandRemingtonIII's avatar

I will submit to you that was a 1 time RIOT. Not a march. And anybody with common sense would know better than to do what those village idiots did. So spare me the one time thing that was flat dumb.

On the level of the, “Short-Bus-Riding, Special Ed Class Members” we used to used to see on school grounds in the 50s in the 60s.

Potato-potahto. You are entitled to your opinion. Nevertheless, my point stands: there was a march, people were arrested and are still incarcerated. Compare that to ANY of the "mostly peaceful demonstrations" of 2020 and the lack of consequences. That should tell you volumes.

Expand full comment
GarlandRemingtonIII's avatar

What, Peaceful demonstrations have our side ever had? You cannot name any that amounted to anything. My wife and I tried on 3 different occasions to get conservative movement started.

And we are fortunate enough blessed to have certain Oil&Gas Income here in Wyoming . we did not mind whatsoever, putting our money where our mouth is. Grassroots organizations to get started and keep going takes money. Real $$$$$$$ money. A quarter of a $$$$ million dollars easily, to start off with. To get up and running.

The only problem we ever had with anything?? What is commitment out of people. We had no trouble with anything else. Getting an office or more opened up. Getting them staffed. None of this was no problem. Flyers, posters billboards, no problem. Once again, the main problem was people. Commitment.

And not being scared to put shoe leather to pavement. My fellow conservatives are very good at talking, but not on following through. What happened in Washington on January 6 was a tremendous exception to the rule.

I will always believe there was a lot of undercover FBI scattered throughout the crowd to get them hyped up in a militant manner to break in / commit crimes. In closing, No, I’m not interested in any of that.

Paul Rae's avatar

OK, so we agree that January 6 was a march. And I absolutely agree that the FBI had infiltrated the crowd and instigated what little activity the Democrats and media (or do I repeat myself?) have whipped up into an 'insurrection'. Why else have we not seen hours and hours of video evidence? Why no cross examinations, or real Republicans on the committee? Anyway: the silent majority is known as silent for a reason, but I firmly believe that we are closing in on...something.

The GOP will never fix anything. At this point, the only hope we have of saving the country is through a constitutional convention where real limitations can be placed on the fed government. And what comes out of a constitutional convention is a roll of the dice. Conservatives have to face it: barring some bold action, we've lost the country. In the end conservatives didn't conserve .... anything.

“Conservatives have to face it: barring some bold action, we've lost the country. In the end conservatives didn't conserve .... anything.” You are 100% correct. And the reason we lost the country is because we’ve been too damn scared of the left to take them on in the streets nearly every weekend. The far left is out in the streets, pushing in marching for the things that they believe in.

And what have we done for the last 30 / 40 / 50 years? we stayed HIDING OUT IN OUR ABODES AND CHURCHES!!!!! While we bitched and pitched conniption fits. Online.

Or in a town-hall to our politicians. Whenever they actually would hold a town hall but we haven’t even done 10% of the things the left has done to take over the country. We haven’t marched on one school or one college. to let them know, exactly how we feel what they have been doing to our Nations youth all these years.

We have made excuses left and right and what are the biggest excuses that is always made is this one. “We got jobs ya know.” Yea. Like we work 24/7. Our problem is, we are too damn scared to take all of the left. They laugh at us because they know we’re afraid of them. THEY HAVE BEEN LAUGHING AT US!!

That is not including the mayors all over the world as can be seen in the database document below. Put the country of interest in and all the cities involved will appear! They apparently don’t want to tell US in advance about their plans. Here are a few they mention but begs the question what so they have they planned are not mentioning here??

For my money this is about the crack-up of America, not just the GOP.

The only practical difference between Democrats and Republicans is that Democrat constituents seem less able to see the obvious: that their own party is raping them.

Or did I miss class that day when the Democrat party openly added a plank to their platform in favor of making billionaires even more wealthy while making poor people even more poor by mandating job-killing lockdowns for all except billionaires' big boxes? And when did Democrats add a plank to enrich Big Pharma while decimating the working class by mandating the jab for everyone except themselves?

I have a difficult time believing it myself but I think we should face the obvious: neither party is accountable to their constituents because the leaders of neither party want us to be heard at the ballot box. Only when we accept that fact do we begin to have a prayer of fixing this problem.

I’ve been done with the RNC, GOP and the RINOS. I’m waiting to see just how many Americans have been in infected with this brain dead disease.

Also, I’m curious to see if hard times really hard times will cure that stubbornly resistant strain of dumb a** that majority of Americans have.

I couldn’t be more disgusted disappointed I could honestly throw up in my mouth when I go among this utterly stupid mass of ignorant value signaling no counts in our soon to be Venezuela.

If we the people don’t get up

stand up speak up then they deserve every little bit that’s going that the pipe.

And I say make it so

It is very possible the BAD GUYS will be infiltrating America soon!!!! No more pizzas will be allowed (that was a joke). But really, they will steal our land, put us in China like 15 minute cities, and we all will be chipped like animals unable to leave the PSYCHOPATHIC CREATED LIFE THEY HAVE FORCED ON US!!! BUT ITS NOT THE CHINESE! ITS THE GLOBALISTS. Our very own GATES, SOROS, WEF and other like them who think they are Gods and should control us like cattle!!!! Then we become never-ending Guinea pigs for their future mRNA jabs since they have decided all so-called future vaccines will be mRNA technology.

Before comment, I just want to say Emerald that you are the voice in the Wilderness. I can't say enough good things about you. I wish everyone would follow and support you. Now........IMO..........

What Republicans really fear is MSM and the DS, which have the ability to control the narrative like they've shown us for the last 6 years. We knew it but, now we can see it. No matter what is said by any rePUG, you can bet if it's not popular with Dems or the DS, the hatchet will come out and it's all over, and of course, they cave. That's why some conservatives steer away from even the phrase MAGA. It puts too much light on them when they would rather just stay in the darkness. If rePUGs would just stand up and spit it out like President Trump does, like YOU do, without worrying about kickback, it would be a much better world....for everyone.

I have no idea why anyone who is MAGA is not supporting starting a new MAGA or Patriot Party. I don't want to hear that it will split the vote and the Dems will win. Are you kidding me? They are already winning because they know even when Republicans win, like just happened in the House, the Dems will get everything they want. Let's squash the GOP once and for all. I don't want to live in a pretend world anymore. The Republican LT Gov of GA went on TV the day before the run of election and told ppl not to vote for the Republican Walker. What more do you want? They are laughing at us and spitting in our faces.
