Hah! Wear that badge with honor, Emerald! For years I have used Wikipedia to vet people who I wasn't sure whether they were solid conservative patriots or just fake conservatives or worse.

I have found that if Wikipedia denigrates them and smears them as conspiracy theorists or "extreme right wing", then I know the person of interest is probably a true blue commonsense patriot with traditional, classic conservative leanings. My conclusions using this crude means of analysis have been accurate 90% of the time.

I am wary of people whose Wikipedia entry is fairly neutral, positive, or glowingly admirable. They're almost always anywhere from moderate Leftwing socialists up through corrupt Democrat totalitarians.

Great viewpoint. I think many of us instinctively do the same.

I liken WP "editors" to dirty old men offering candy to schoolyard kids.

Congrats, Emerald, for making the big time. It's a badge of honor. BTW, what is a "midwit striver?"

Expand full comment

I'd say a "midwit striver" is an aggressive middle management or sales person who is "making all the right connections" to advance their "career" - joining the Kiwanis Club, involved in the local Chamber of Commerce, basically kissing the butt of anyone they can who might advance their status and bottom line... They're a pathetic bunch.

P.S. They're also usually driving the right BMW/suburban/pickup, wearing the right clothes and in debt up to their eyeballs...

Never used nor trusted Wikipedia. Anyone can edit information. Proof positive is your page. Agree that it can be dangerous times ahead.

Emerald, you've arrived!

Should I be jealous, as there's no Wiki page for me, much less a denigrating one?

P.S. "Conspiracy theorist" = red-pilled enemy of the Globalist-CCP Axis.

When they use the phrases “COVID-19 conspiracy theorists” and “American conspiracy theorists.”, that is a dead giveaway that it’s a propaganda piece.

I wouldn’t worry too much about such writings. They are meant to be read by the sheep.

I used to refer to the CiA as the Criminal Insurrectionist Agency. But since they don't want to associate themselves with "domestic insurrectionists," I've had to revise the meaning.

CIA = Criminal Infiltration Activists.

WP is so dirty, not even the president of Harvard, Claudine Madoff, will plagiarize from it.

"I always tell them: the best part is not having myocarditis." Classic!

The really sad thing about the CIA is that they are now so entrenched and able to act without any oversight by, well, anyone, that we are destined to suffer their machinations in perpetuity. It's just so difficult to wrap our minds around how awful and evil these people are. We're all victims of the CIA.

12/15/23: So who at Harvard and the other Ivies, like WP, are also on the CIA et al payrolls? Past patterns, especially from the 1960s, suggest that the ones with the biggest mouths who claim to be the biggest "radicals" are the ones.

12/15/23: I have never forgotten one line from an otherwise dispensable musical critic's column, written about 25 years ago. He said that he was nauseated by middle-aged musical writers (the same age as he) pretending to like rap music in order to stay in favor with the music bigs. Assuming that they had any, how many ex-60s radicals in order to survive toileted their "ideals" in order to maintain their status in the Biden-Obama crime cartels?

Girl, I'm a financial supporter, but you are perhaps one of the most self-referential journalists I've encountered. Somehow, it always seems to be about you. That's just not your best look. Please do your reporting. Just tone down a bit the "you really love me" Sally Fields-esque bits.
